ProtonFlow Privacy Policy

ProtonFlow is a Chrome extension that adds Gmail-style keyboard shortcuts to ProtonMail. This policy explains what data is (and isn't) collected.

What we collect

ProtonFlow stores only your extension settings — keyboard shortcut bindings and the enabled/disabled toggle — using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This data lives entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

What we don't collect

• No email content, metadata, or addresses
• No browsing history
• No personal information of any kind
• No analytics or telemetry

Third parties

ProtonFlow makes no network requests and shares no data with any third party. It operates entirely within your browser.

Permissions

The extension requests two permissions:

• storage — to save your shortcut preferences locally
• host_permissions for mail.proton.me — to run the keyboard shortcut handler on ProtonMail only

Your rights

You can clear all stored settings at any time by uninstalling the extension, or by visiting the Chrome extensions page and clearing site data for the extension.
